Did you ever have one of those "all is right with the world" moments?

I'm sitting here with all my cleaning/errands done for the day, I'm DISing, my dogs are snuggled together in their cuddle bed, my cat is enthralled by a piece of blue fuzz on the carpet, I've got homemade bread baking in the oven, the house is quiet, I have a wonderful dh & ds and our health is good... Now, I know this peaceful moment won't last very long (the cat is eyeing up one of the dog's wagging tails--no one is safe when she's in Kitty Freak-Out mode), but this is just one of those times that I thank God for all the good I have in my life. It's something I need to do more often. Do you ever have times like these where you feel everything is right with the world? (I hope you do!):)

Yes, and I'm so happy you posted this. Sometimes we need reminders that life isn't so bad all the time.:D

Great post luvmydogs!:D

I love that feeling. I have a friend and one I see him dance it makes me think that the world is a happy place. He isn't a professional but he just loves to shake his tail. He has had so much tragedy and losses in his life.... it is just great to see him dance:D

Yes, I do. I'll quietly say to myself, "Life is good".

I had the perfect moment yesterday, my 2 yearold son said for the first time, wuv you mommie. Everything was right with the world.:love2:

Got that feeling yesterday morning after getting my resort discount!!! Life is good.......

Those moments come more and more frequently as you age. Although I am never quite sure if my life is actually easier or if it only seems so because I can't always remember the problems.

I just had one of those moments last night. We had a yummy dinner, house was clean, I was rocking DD-15 months to sleep, & DH was carrying DS-4 years old to the bathroom to brush his teeth. I couldn't help but think of how blessed we are & I made a note to self--remember this moment when something silly gets me down. :D

I often have those and when I do I write them down to remember them. Life is too short to not cherish moments like that. Plus if you have them written down it helps on the days when life isn't going so well. I write those down too and they help balance it all out.

:rotfl: I can totally relate.

P.S. I love those moments:teeth: .

Wonderful post, thank you!

I have those moments often. I thinks it's true what faithinkarma said that they come more frequent as you age, but I'm only 36 and I feel so blessed.

:wave2:

Great thread and yes, I do have those moments. I always try to appreciate them too because I think there are a lot of people out there who either don't have that precious moment of total bliss OR they just don't recognize it when it IS there! LOL

faithinkarma, you're probably right on the money with your thoughts!! :jester:

I had one of those this past weekend. I was getting ready for my concert, getting my hair done and enjoying a Spring Training game. Such simple pleasures....:D
