Did you ever buy something only to find it is broken?

I ran out yesterday and bought a humidifier to help with my breathing due to a cold. I thought to myself, Kitty keep your breathing and lungs clear as possible. Noway do I want to end up with bronchitis again! I would need this through out the winter months.

I get it home, read all the instruction's and set it up. Nothing! So DH looked at it lastnight and he also could not get it to work! So it is broken, now I have to take it back. I told dh they had a small Vaporizier there for $10.00. I am going to pick that up today. I am sure that will do the job that I need to help me breath better!

I hate when you buy something and it is broken, but hey I know it happens!

Happens all the time. Prime example: yesterday I was working with one of my customers, installing two brand new, right-out-of-the-box IBM servers. One works perfectly - the other will not power up. Power lights come on, then nothing. IBM will be there today to replace the server
