Did you book directly with Disney to get the DDP?

I have booked a 14 night package including flights with Virgin Holidays in the UK. I have been told by the people at Disney travel in the UK that I can only add the DDP if I book the package directly with Disney. Is this the case in the US or are you able to book your package through a travel agent?

I booked directly with Disney, but I'm pretty sure you can also get the DDP thru travel agents.

I can't speak for the UK, but in the US you can get the DDP thru any travel agent or directly thru Disney. However, the DDP can only be added to certain packages. It is not available as an "add on" to everything.

Disney is going to get it's $ from you in some fashion. You might be able to get a deeply discounted room on a special, but not be able to add the DDP to it. You might get the "free" DDP in the fall, but pay more for the room. You get the idea.....
