did we make the right choice??

my mom and i are planning a trip to disney in may 2003. i have not been there in9 years. her-7 years. we stayed at CBR. that is where i booked it again this time since we loved it back then?? i have been hearing some negative things lately. is it the right choice or maybe should we try another moderate resort??? HELP......

Welcome to the DIS! No, you've made a good choice. You can't go wrong with any of the resorts, and CBR was renovated recently and are getting ready to redo the food court and sit down restaurant. I don't know when you made your ressie for, but it's supposed to close until the holidays. They just got finished moving anyone who had ressie there to other hotels during the renovation. If you go after the holidays, it'll be all finished and looking good!

No, you haven't made a poor choice AT ALL! Think of it this way... when you stay there, the rooms have all been refurbished within the past 2 years, the main pool has been refurbished, Old Port Royale will be refurbished with a brand new sitdown restaurant. In essence, it will be the "newest" moderate on property due to all of the work they are doing on it now!

I don't think you can make a bad choice. We try and stay at a new place each trip, but if you are comfortable going there again then have fun!
