Did WDW survive the hurricane?

i was just wondering if anyone knew if WDW survived the hurricane and didnt get that much damage or if it even got any. if anyone knows anything reply back...thanks....hopefully nothing bad happenedc

I don't think they'll know the real damage until tomorrow morning. They took a pretty good hit.

I feel so bad for the people in Punta Gorda, I heard the damage is predicted to be like Andrew's.

Is there something wrong with the journalist thats on Larry King Live? She's coming off as being extremely uninterested and its like she faking her compassion. Almost like shes acting...I had to turn the channel.

The pictures that are coming across are scary... Everyone down there is in my thoughts!!

Obviously, we can't get into the parks, but, after the hurricane passed through we walked the grounds of the Swan/Dolphin and over to the Boardwalk.
We saw a little damage to the Boardwalk sign and some flower pots were broken. A couple of other small signs were damaged.

Obviously a lot of debris from trees every where. But, from our limited perspective, nothing major around here.

Preshi, yea I had to turn her off too. She was talking to another newsperson who was in Orlando and he mentioned that they also had to be wary about the threat of tornadoes. Her response to that was, "You are in a hurricane, why are you even worrying about tornadoes?!!"
The newsman had to proceed to explain to her the difference and why you had to be concerned. After that I couldnt listen to her anymore.

Keep me posted...I'm heading down on Sunday, trying to decide which way to drive. Hopefully the parks will be a little more empty!
