Did they up the prices for the DP in 2011?

I just read the joke thread about the dining plan prices but some people who responded made it sound as if there was a large price increase for the DP in 2011? Was it announced yet and if so what are the real new prices?

I am certain it was meant as a joke. Those prices are given for just drinks (and later the OP adds that if you are on deluxe you get a cracker). Likely this was meant as a parody on the tendency of Disney to up the prices while taking things away from the dining plan. I believe some of the responders didn't realize it was a joke and thought the actual prices had been posted.

Actual 2011 dining plan prices have not been released yet and likely won't be until next month.

I've changed the title on that thread as it has become obvious the thread is confusing people.

Oh of course I know that post was a joke, but I didnt know if they were basing it on the truth that Disney DID raise the price and include less.

They did, for the past two years - so folks think is likely for this year also, especially with the rumors abounding (around the information given about the free dining plans now being offered to British guests who are booking in 2011) that there will be no dessert included with DDP next year.

This is still considered rumor because we haven't seen the US package info yet.
