Did the counter service in Mexico reopen yet?

Just wondering we will be there this week and always have liked to have a CS meal at the Mexican restaurant in Epcot, but I know it was closed for ahwile. Anyone know if it has reopened? Is the menu the same?

I believe that I saw the cs that you're referring to when I was there last week. If so, it's still closed. BUT, there was a little stand with a limited menu. Dh and I were really in the mood for Mexican, so we ordered from there. It was great!! HUGE portions. We really should have only ordered 2 meals for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids), especially since they don't have "kids" meals. Just to get a break from the heat, we took it inside and sat on the floor of the Mexican pavillion. Yes, we were desperate to escape the heat, and the floor was very cold!

I hope its open in a few weeks, if not maybe we will get the food from the stand and take it to the little porch in Norway

I believe the opening date is September 16. Could be soft opening before that though.

The temporary stand had GREAT food, as mentioned very large portions. They did have the high tables around the outside of the Pyramid that you can stand and eat at.
