Did SSR owners get developer points on the 2007 Member Cruise?

Hi I seem to remember that folks who bought SSR on the DVC member cruise got developer points for a full years worth of points. I have been told by Disney management that only the folks who opted out of the free cruise received the points. I thought everyone got them. Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks. Marylyn

I recall this happening and I think it was an either/or (which makes sense. basicially you were using those points on the cruise)

Yes. We added 160 SSR points on the member cruise. We got 200 developer points and $10 off per point. We had a choice of developer points or interval international vacation. AKV points got $7 or $8 off per point plus choice of points or vacation. We also got some huge display plate. The more points you bought more stuff you got. 160 points was the minimum for the discounts and points. They had dates and resorts to pick from. We had to use the points by one year from when we signed the papers. We did a weekend in Jan and DW is using the rest with some of ours for her and a friend and son in June.
