Did Santa bring a Pat Pat Rocket to your house?

Well he brought one to our house and to my nephews house and both my brother and I are ready to pack it away for another year! My nephew pinched his hand really bad with the handle underneath and if I have to put Leo, June, Quincy, or Annie in their seats one more time I will scream! They only fit in "their" seat.. I understand this is because they talk but couldn't it have been one big peg? Two small posts that barely fit is nuts. Then every time they "fly" they fall out of their seat and I get to "put their seatbelt back on"!

Anyone else having Pat Pat issues?

I guess on the good side it was a huge hit and worth the months of searching.

Ours is in the closet now Making them each ride in their own individual seats just doesn't make any sense to me. I might superglue them in later. And our clear cover keeps popping off....ugghhh. Not to mention our 3 year old just does not get the concept of pushing it faster or flying it straight up....so none of the 'commands' work.

oh ya.. those too... the clear cover doesn't stay on and my 3 year old has no idea how to really make it work.

DS2 (almost 3) loves his Pat Pat rocket. The cover has come off a couple of times, but other than that it's working out fine. I hope there is a mute button or a volume control because it is soooo loud!!!

There is an off switch but have not seen a volume control... would be nice!

Same here about the cover. I put it away after putting it back on umpteen times. Volume control would be a plus. But, the look on my DD's face was worth it.

I thought it was cute when my DD asked my where the seat belts are! They make a big deal on the show about buckling up, so I was surprised it didn't have any. They sure would have been handy at keeping the characters in place.

So...santa accidentally threw the instructions away after wrestling it out of the packaging. What do we need to know to maximize our use...right now she just pushes it on the floor.

P.S. We've already lost Junie and Leo.....I think they are in the ball pit!

Katie (4.5) hasn't let hers out of her sight. She already figured out how to make the music go faster and slower. She doesn't like the pole at the bottom so we're not allowed to open that. We're not having any problems with the kids falling out.

Me too! I have no idea what this thing does other than talk when you put the characters in. DS keeps closing the top then cannot get it open b/c ours sticks. Grrr.... he really loves it though!

I read about the Pat Pat Rocket on these boards, but couldn't source one in the UK, although there were a few on ebay, at mad prices. Then on Christmas Eve, my sister was in the Disney Store over here and they were just putting some out that had arrived that day, but I think they are different from yours.

This one is remote control, moves along the floor, turns around, but doesn't play any sounds. The Figures still have to fit in their seats, but doesn't matter where, although they don't all fit in properly!! Build quality isn't great, but simple for our 3 year old to use.

I guess we will have to get one of your ones, when we are over in WDW in two weeks, how much are they? Ours was £15, ($30).

I just got home from target where they have a TON of these in stock now. It is my understanding that the higher rocket flys the louder he gets. (crescendo)

Yes, you can either point him straight up to fly and he gets louder or you can push him faster on the floor and he gets louder. As far as the cost, it was roughly 30.00 here too....
