Did packages for 2012 come out this morning?

Do you have to call to get a quote and/or book a package? I tried pricing room only and a package online and it's giving me the message that prices are only available for check ins up to and including 12/31/11.

Last night I was able to book room only 2012 with AAA, the CM commented that he was happy he was off tomorrow....I laughed with him I guess he was right!

How strange.....45 minutes ago it wouldn't let me go into July 2012 and I just tried it after reading your post and it worked.....thank you .

With the Disney system, you can't book more than 500 days out.....That may be your problem.......

Just off the chat with a Cast Member and she stated the following:

Sophia Louisa: Yes, our packages are available for travel in 2012 as of today, however we are only able to book a maximum of 499 days ahead of time- which is currently through October 23, 2012. If you are trying to travel past that date, you will need to wait a bit longer to book your trip.
Sophia Louisa: This is the earliest in the summer our packages for the following year have ever been announced, so it is a little bit different booking schedule that we are used to. (smile)

Cannot book packages online yet, that's coming next week. But, you can call & book thru Oct. 23.
AoA is open for booking but they've only released Family Suites so far.

Me too! I just emailed my favorite Dreams agent because I want to book for 2012 now! Hope to hear from her in a couple of days as I am sure they are getting flooded with quote requests right now and their web site isn't set up for 2012 yet.

Thanks for the info . I was wondering why I could get a quote for July 2012 but not December . I forgot about the 499 days out, but it all makes sense now .

ok, i just went online and priced my package for aug 17-25 2012 at PORR , dining plan and 7 day tickets , it was 3795.00. if i break it down room, tickets dining seperately, its only about 3200.00 roughly.... why am i coming up with a 500.00 difference?? is there no "pacakge discount " included yet?? i read right now you can book room onlyand the other things are add ons and packages actually come out in August like ususal.UUGGHHH... cant wait to book and plan. bad enough i have to wait so long to go!!!

Chalk it up to another misinformed CM, lol!! When I tried earlier it wouldn't let me, so I called! But yay for being able to do it online now!!!

Any news on when they will allow bookings for the new Art of Animation resort? I believe it is supposed to be open next summer or fall. Will be staying at POP this August and can't wait to peek over and see what progress has been made
