I've done the dinner, and don't always have the brain power at 8 to handle the twirlin', so thought I'd try breakfast: I prefer the dinner food, and breakfast at 1900 Park Faire:confused3.

Minnie Mouse was there, and darling as always!!! But the food offered was icky to me...not the choices, but the execution! Cheese (processed) and eggs en masse . The bacon had no taste. The fruit was very beautiful though! ...I guess I understand why Crystal Palace gets the nod, if it is anything like their dinner...(I have not had breakfast there.)

This is not meant to be a rant, I was just so surprised that it gets so many raves!!

Just returned last night & CM breakfast was, hands down, the absolute worst meal of the entire trip.

Food was just not good at all. Did not have the selection that CP or CMC have. Unlike the OP, we couldn't even enjoy the fruit. Everything was just BLEH! :crazy2:

Made me remember why we had stopped going there in the first place. :sad2:

We agree. We don't like CM for breakfast at all, and it's on our "Never Do Again" list. We think it's OK for dinner and go every so often. It's not good enough to go every trip, though. We LOVE Crystal Palace for breakfast, though. It wins hands down.

Agreed, the only reason we do CM breakfast is to see Minnie. Our girls are small, so it is easier for the characters to come to them. I prefer every other character breakfast we have done to this one (CP, Tusker, Norway, H&V).

When we get over the princess obsession, maybe we will try Cape May to see Minnie. Right now though, it is Princesses in Norway or bust in the Epcot area...:rotfl2:

I don't think many of us go to the Character meals for the food. I'm fine as long as the food is edible and the interaction with the Characters is satisfactory. That has always been the case @ CM's, so we do go there every year....it's one of my kids favorites.

I'm surprised Disney has not done anything about the food at Chef Mickey's. I have given that place so many chances but they have failed each time. I'm done with the place. There is alot of other good places to eat. I'll pass on Minnie so we can eat something edible. She's not worth it. The last two times I was on the free dining. Had I paid for that garbage they would have heard from me.

I can't handle the noise level at CM's during breakfast and I agree the food is blah. But DD loves having dinner there so once again it is on our must do list for the next trip!

1) It gets raves due to the character interaction, not the food.
2) For the good food reviews, too many people "drank the koolaid", like Le Cellier.

Whoa wait a minute.
Here I am all set to make an ADR for Christmas morning for Chef Mickey's, and I see this thread!

Well I've been holding off 'cause someone who ate Christmas breakfast at CM's last yearr was upset that they did NOT have their usual everyday breakfast spread, but rather an altered brunch / lunch menu.

So, anyone here had their Christmas breakfast/brunch?

Does it get any better reviews from you guys? Be honest.

Even the character interaction was pathetic this past trip. Ate breakfast here on 9/03 and had to ask most of the characters to sign the children's books and even stay long enough to poise for a picture.
All Minnie did was dance up to the table and wave at us and then skipped away.My 5 year niece was heartbroken. I had to ask one of the helpers to have her come back.

As for the food I agree that it was the worst breakfast we had during our 8 night trip. It was not worth "waiting" for.
