Did Matterhorn's Height Requirement change?

Last Time we went to DL my daughter was able to ride Matterhorn at 40" but when I looked at the height requirements for our next trip she needs to be 42" Does anyone know why it changed? Thanks

The previous height had been 35". When they changed the bobsleds from the cuddle seats to individual seats, the OSHA height requirement for the new seating style went to 42".

Wow what a huge difference, I remember my son going on when he was 3 and loving it. He would not have been anywhere near tall enough to go on it if that was the height requirement. Too bad for all those little ones as it is a great intro roller coaster.

But, for most children, ONLY because you were snug with your parent or other loved one.

Sitting alone it is QUITE a different coaster.
