Unfortunately the statistics say they are the most likely people to be responsible for her disapearance. At first I didn´t think they had anything to do with it, but now I´m not so sure anymore.

What do you guys think? If you think her parents are responsible, do you think they both are? If not, do you think the other parent knows what happened to her?

I think at least one of the parents know what happened. Both probably do. Everyone panics about the thought of strangers doing something to their children, but it is usually a parent or close relative.

At the very least, both are criminally negligent for leaving those children alone.

You said that right! I mean we leave DD in the house and go out in the backyard but always have the monitor - and only when she's safe asleep in the crib. We would never leave her just hanging out in the house and run off to have dinner somewhere.

I don't know about the parents - they sure are putting up a good front if so. I heard they rented a place in Spain and refuse to leave. Seems like a lot of hoopla for someone who might have done it themselves. :confused3

I've kind of thought the same thing. What I THINK happened was maybe the parents accidentally killed her in the room and freaked out and staged the whole dissappearance. As far as both of them killing her, not really sure. I do hope the case is solved, but sadly I don't think it ever will be. :confused3

I'll never understand how the parents left the kids by themselves. They lost their credibility with me from the get go, to be honest. I would not be surprised to learn they were up to no good, sorry to say. :( :(

I don't know what could be going on- I have not seen enough info. Only know that they are doctors? And I thought it was unusual to be staying put until they find her- just in light of the financials of it all. But I assume they have received quite a bit of money.
In my heart I truly hope it is not the parents. I am confused as to why it would have taken so long to find the syringe?

I think they´re smart and know exactly what they´re doing. We feel sorry for them and tend to believe in their innocence because they won´t give up on looking for her. They travel abroad with posters, open websites, give interviews, etc. I hope they´re innocent. I can not imagine how someone could kill their child and then go on as if they had no idea of what happened.

I agree. Even if they didn't intentionally kill their daughter, I think they know what happened. Maybe killed her by mistake as another thread suggests (with sedation); or she somehow died when they left her alone; or whatever.

One way or another they are responsible for her disappearance and possible death. If not directly (killing her), then indirectly. I also will NEVER get past leaving small children unsupervised. That is beyond negligent, even if they are otherwise innocent. In the US they would have been at least charged with child endangerment.

I think she accidentally died when they were away and they disposed of her body. They know what happened but don't plan on telling.

Do you think it was her blood they found?

I don't know if they killed her but leaving her alone while they dined is the reason she is missing or dead, complete negligence.:sad2:

She could have been abducted while they were at home. Unfortunately, that happens "all the time".

Could be the police suspect the dad and that's why they have been interviewing the mom alone... they could be trying to drive a wedge.

Losing a child is one of the greatest tragedies I can think of...next to a parent killing their own child. I hope they eventually get to the bottom of this.

It's been all over the news this morning. Mother will be named a "suspect" today. :sad1:

Even if "they" weren't hte ones to kill her--they were responsible for her disappearance.

The whole story seemed shady from the start and the outpour of "sympathy" for them disturbed me quite frankly. (And the people who say "there but for the grace of God go I"--make me want to scream as I had no idea it required divine intervention to use common sense and NOT abandon your kids for dinner like that. It wasn't like they had a critical emergency and couldn't help but leave the kids.)

What we know they did was idiotic.

What they possibly did is unforgivable.

Yeah. I'm usually a "there for the Grace of God Go I" person but even I couldn't work out any sympathy for these people. This is just something that is unfathomable to me, going out to dinner while your small children slept in another location without supervision. I could see if someone had an emergency and had to leave the house, but to go out to a leisurely dinner?
