So I finally got my dh to say yes to MVMCP (Dec 10) and got on the phone to order tix today. I thought that at the time you ordered tix there was a deal or package or something that you could get a PS at LTT at the same time, even if it was more than 60 days out. The CM I ordered my tix from said she had nevr heard of this and there was no way anybody could get a PS more than 60 days out unless they were using one of their Magical Wishes from a package. She said to call back on the 60 day out day.

So, did I misunderstand? I never thought a trip to Disney would be so much work. I know it will all payoff and be worth it when we get there but in the meantime.....

Thanks in advance for helping to set me straight!

**UPDATE**
Thanks for the advice. I called back, got a different CM this time, and was told exactly what all you have said -- with tix you can book more than 60 days out. The only thing they had left for Dec 10 was 7pm or later so I passed on that. I want to spend my time at the party and not at dinner. She suggested calling at the 60 day mark at opening and ask for Tony's or CRT. Now she did also say that they will make you leave the park after you eat and re-enter for the party. I can't imagine if you are done eating around 6:30 or so they will make you leave just to get in line. I've never been to MVMCP before but that seems kind of silly to me. I plan to call on the 60 day out day and see if anything for LTT opens up, if not then I may ask for LTT. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

From what I've heard, only LTT was doing the MNSSHP and MVMCP package where you could book it right away and not wait for 60 days out....

The other restaurants are 60 days out.

Also, I believe because of this 'package' LTT is booked solid and all you can do is hope for cancellations.

We have a PS for LTT that we book within a day of when they started selling the tickets. They are now booked solid (I've tried calling back to get a seating for 8 instead of 4).

Good luck!

Just to let you know. We booked LLT when we bought our MVMCP tickets several months ago(the first day they went on sale). We have a conformation number. I believe LTT was the only place that was doing this and they may be sold out by now. Good luck..smjj

I mentioned this on another post but will again.....call back re LTT and PS for MVMCP! The CM must not have been familiar with this, so try again. The one that helped me today made the PS before I even decided to get the tickets!! She just reminded me that I would need the tickets to get in that night. At 60 days out they are also making PS's for other rest.'s in the park. I had read that LTT was the only one open, but not so. Good luck.

We did MVMCP in 2000, ate LLT and we stayed in the resturant until the park reopened. We stepped right out the front door and straight to the Haunted Mansion! It was great!

I bought my tics for MVMCP on Dec. 3rd about two weeks ago. I caleed right away to get LTT PS and was told it was not available. I figured it couldn't hurt to keep trying.

I called this morning (approx. 60 days) and I was told by the CM that they freed up that day and I pretty much had my choice of times. I was really happy. We are going 5:40 on the night of the party.

Don't give up Belle0101....call at the 60 days mark and you should be able to get it!!

Good Luck!!

Does anyone know if all the restaurants will be open for MVMCP? I want to try and get ps's somewhere for the 20th and was trying to narrow down my choices. Apparently Tony's and LTT will be open, but wondering if anything else will be available.

I dont know if it is the same this yr, but last year LTT was the only place open DURING MVMCP. All the others were open earlier, but last seating was 6:10 or maybe even 5:55. Call and check though!!

Sorry, I wasn't very clear with my question. I just meant would they be open late enough to be able to get a ps and have the possibility at least of not having to leave the park and then re-enter at 7. As slow as we eat, I don't think I'd want a ps any later than 6 as we don't want to be eating after the party starts. I guess we'll just have to wait till a few people go to the early dates to find out exactly how they're doing it, but I'm sure going to try and get a ps on the 60 day mark.

I got PS at LTT 60 days out for 12/3. But my CM told me no seating was available at CRT that evening. There's no way it was full, I was talking to him at 7:00 AM sharp. I think they're not taking ressies for CRT for dinner. I was thrilled to get LTT anyhow.....the PS's were gone when I called last June and got my MCVMP tix. Make sure you mention you're going to the X-mas Party.

I called CRO last night and they said the last seating for CRT on 12/3 is 6 pm. Two things could be happening (both happened last yr) They are either only serving dinner 4-6 or serving the lunch menu the whole day from 11:30-6.

If I was to get PS for around 5.30 on the 5th, would I have to use one of the days on my hopper pass to gain entry to the park ?
I want to have dinner before the party, but it would be a waste of a day, to use it just to get in to eat

I got my tickets two months ago and when I tried to make a PS for LTT the CM told me the same thing. I persisted that others had done so and she finally said, "Oh, yes you can. I didn't know that." Call back!

Yes, I would say to call back and nicely ask. I've seen many times on here people commenting that CM's often have different answers. Personally I have never had a problem with them, but I did think of something to keep in mind -- it doesn't excuse it, but it might help you feel not quite so bad....

I used to work in a reservations office at a large convention hotel. Being in reservations, our guest contact was over the telephone. Whenever people went through training, they got a pin that said "In Training." At WDW, they get a ribbon that attaches to their nametag that says "I'm earning my ears." Great idea! The guests know that you are new and learning, and in theory they're a little more understanding if you're a little slower or have to ask someone about something. The problem comes when you're on the telephone for your job. Since we don't have vision-phones, you as the guest can't see that you're in training or "earing your ears." I'm not trying to say this is ALWAYS the case (always is always false, never is never true...), but it could be. Just something to think about if you get a CM who might seem a bit confused. As for those CMs who are just being stubborn, that's on them.

So I'd agree that it never hurts to ask, and if necessary, politely say that you've got friends who have already done it (from what I understand, the quickest way to get the CM "shut down" and "drone-like" (I think that's what I've heard it called) is to say you read on an internet discussion board...so just say a friend) and could they possible check with a supervisor. My guess is that that will serve two purposes...it will help you get what you're looking for and it will help the CM learn something new! :)

Whether you can get PS at CRT for dinner before MVMCP depends on the # in your party. I asked for 6 and nothing was available before 6:00. That's because there are only tables for 4. Go figure....

So keep that in mind when calling.

You mean they only had tables for 4 available right? Also keep in mind that they are only open from 4-6 which limits the number of PS's they can take. As always your best bet is to call the morning of the day you want to eat there. Normally, they open up more tables on the day of, however this could be different when dinner is so short, but I doubt it. Its always worth a phone call though.
