I obviously missed something about a possible new rule on the site? I noticed that all the countdown timers are gone from everyone's posts (including mine). Are we not allowed to post those anymore?

Are you on a mobile device? I believe the tickers and signatures don't show on mobile devices.

If your not on a mobile device, it's possible you turn off the option to show signatures.

To check, hover over your user name towards the top right of the page (next to 'Inbox' & 'Alerts') and the select 'Preferences' in the window that opens. In the 'Options' section, check to see if 'Show people's signatures with their messages' is checked or not. You will only see signatures if checked.

FOUND IT: Well how about that -- I'm using Mozilla (work computer), but when I look at the site through Internet Explorer I can see everything. I didn't notice it until this week, so something changed -- maybe the IT dept. changed the viewing settings.

Are you missing a plugin from your browser? Check another browser. Computers do weird things and never tell you why.

One of the ticker pages was down a couple of weeks ago. I think it was myvacationcountdown or something. I could still see the ticker, but the countdown aspect stopped. A lot of people had tickers from that site on here - maybe them not showing up is a sign that the site is gone for good.
