I just made ressies for cbr..I've stayed in pop, asm, asmusic, assports, porfq, por, and gf..dh wants more space in room so that is why we chose cbr..the only reason I have my doudts is bcause we have stayed in cbr way back in 1993 when we were newlyweds and the main pool and etc. seemed to be so far away that we didn't enjoy much of it, with 2 kids we really will be needing to take a break and have some down time. We are staying for 8 days, DH will only be staying for 1/2 of trip...We don't want to do deluxe because of length of stay, as stay at home mom finances get tight. I picked a good hotel right? The girls will have fun right?

CBR is a great place to stay. If you're wanting to be closer to the main pool, try requesting Martinique 26. Or Trinadad 31.

Martinique and Trinidad North are locations costing $15 extra nightly. Many folks prefer staying in Jamaica which is right across the bridge from the food court and main pool. You might want to read the CBR FAQ threads listed below for more information. You will have a great time at CBR. We love it.

We didn't like cbr because of the bus accessability. We were use to the poly, and it was a culture shock staying at the cbr. Every thing was ok with the resort, but getting in and out of the resort by bus seemed to take FOR EVER. There just didn't seem to be enough busses working the resort and the ones that did stopping at every Island coming and going. Kids always have fun at WDW no matter what, or where you stay, but the parants

We stayed at CBR 3 weeks ago - I highly recommend it! Our kids loved it!

We upgraded to a preferred location - definitely the way to go if you have kids - nice and close.

The bus service was great - never waited more than 10 minutes.

One of the best things was - when we were back at the resort, away from the parks, it really felt like we were away from the parks - it has a secluded sort of feel to it - great!

Thank you so much for your reply's Sportears and Star War Guys...Safetymom
I read your CBR thread really enjoyed it...It's one of the reason we decided on CBR..It's just the room location Im worried about. Now here's where the confusion lies: When I booked my ressies the rep stated I should not worry about a room near the pool and food station because at the time of year we're going the resort is not crowded (end of Sept. beginning of Oct. MY girls go to year around school THEY HAVE OFF THE LEAST CROWDED TIME AT DISNEY. I now hate to pay $15. a day extra if we could get a room that is adaquate for us. Will we be able to change the room if it is not once we are their? AGAIN THANKS FOR ALL REPLIES....ALL INFO IS TAKEN SERIOUSLY..

I just got back from CBR and we loved it. Just stay in Jamaica. We were in building 46 and was a short walk to everything and it doesn't cost anymore a night. Plus it was the first stop on the bus at the end of the day. We only waited like 10 min at the most for a bus. There is a foot bridge to get to Old Port Royal for food. Make sure you go to the Royal in the mornings the mousekeepers are making washcloth animals every morning.

I would request Jamaica in your reservation. When you get to the resort you could always ask if there is any rooms available in Martinique or Trinidad North. You may find that Jamaica is just great and no need to change locations.
