Did I make a poor choice in Tony's?

DH and I finally got down to a real discussion of the pros and cons of this, including the idea that a CS meal might be best. It was a pretty long conversation. Finally, we decided to book our lunch ressie that day at Liberty Tree Tavern instead. We thought maybe Tony's would be a letdown after Tutto, and also that some American food in the midst of all the more exotic stuff we're having on the vacation might be a good thing. We've been to Liberty Tree a few times, with both good and bad experiences, but it looks like they've changed their menu since the bad experience. I like the ambiance too, and had a good idea of what I might order there.

I had hoped to keep both ressies and decide on the fly (bad me! I know. Bad me!) but the online ressie system will no longer allow you to do that.

So thanks everyone, for all your input. I think I may have to post just about this meal when I get back since we had so many ups and downs deciding on it!

RUN, DO NOT WALK, RUN from Tony's

I have only 2 restaurants in WDW that were actually horrible. I mean horrible and Tony's was one of them.

There is nothing authentic about tonys. My kids hated the spaghetti, which considering they eat anything with enough ketchup on it, says alot.

sauce was absolutely tasteless. How is that even possible? Seriously I mean tomatoe sauce has some flavor.

let me put it to you this way. If the meal was free I would not go back to Tony's. Grab a burger and call it a day. Nothing worse for me on vacation that spending time on a bad meal.

The food there is just meh, personally we leave the park and go to one of the resorts on the lagoon the food at any of them is far superior to any of the TS in MK and it kind of nice to get a break out of the park
