Did I have trouble booking ADRs! Bu I got them!

I couldn't sleep. At 3am, I entered the DISboards, and find out that there was a trouble with the site . I tried it myself, could'nt log on, and the booking system was down!!
I slept one hour and the alarm went off at 5am (6am EST). I entered again the website hoping that my luck had change. But noo!! the system was still down!! I was also thinking of my fellow DISers, knowing that I was not the only one frustrated!!
5:55am
Entered again. No system. Call Disney at 5:58. Closed. Call again at 5:59 (not obsessed at all, mind you!). Closed. Breathed deaply 12 times.. 6am!! Call again, I'm In!!! But the wait was 25 minutes!! What?? did all the DISers call exactly at that time!!!?
6:15am. Still with the Disney music, decided to give it a try again at the Disney website. IT'S ON!!!
Quicky, I entered Le Cellier... oh no!! no availability!! Tried again for a second day (hey! it's Epcot!!!). It's ON!! I got it!! and for dinner!!!
Ok, ok, breath deaply... next choice, Flying Fish... nooo!! no dates!!
But then I was lucky... I tried Boma, LTT and WCC, all IN!! dates and times I wanted But no luck for Narcoossee's, the system said something about not being able to book a party of 9.
At 6:30am, I went to bed again. I thought DH was sleep, but...
DH "did you get what you wanted?" (translation, was I able to book his favorite choices? )
Me: "We got Le Cellier!!! But there was no Flying Fish or Narcoosees"
DH "What?" (now fully awake), "you have to get them!!.. why don't you try to separate the tables?"
Hm! Good idea... let's get back to the PC
And yes!! I was able to book both TS in different reservations with just 5 minutes difference!! We might not be seated together, but both restaurants are worth it!
What I wasn't able to do is get the Fantasmic! DP, no availability for all week!! DH wants his brother & family to watch the show, I'll be happy to see the Osbourne lights instead .
So my advice: be patient!! be flexible... and cross your fingers!! Oh yes, logging in first is a very good idea.

I was struggling through it myself this morning but I never thought to go back to bed! Wise choice! I too finally lucked out with what I wanted. But I thought I would let you know that the Fantasmic and Candlelight packages did have to be booked over the phone. We were lucky enough to get both. But since you were on the phone I'm sure they tried for you. Good luck!!

But I thought I would let you know that the Fantasmic and Candlelight packages did have to be booked over the phone. We were lucky enough to get both. But since you were on the phone I'm sure they tried for you. Good luck!!.

I hanged up when I got Le Cellier, but I called again and again until the waiting time was 13minutes And the CM told me about being sold about the whole week.

Thanks so much soaringirl for the play by play. I will be doing the same on Monday and 5:00. So I guess I should forget about the Fantasmic Package on Tues/Thurs of that week as it is booked up. I suppose I'll try to book Mama Melrose and get into Fantasmic the old fashioned way. I am just so stressed out as this is my sister's family's first trip to Dis and I want it to be special with my pics for dinner each night as I really have everything planned down to the parks and which nights are firework night etc.

I had some drama this morning as well. I was up at 4:30 to set up all my tabs online, and the thing was down. I kept on refreshing, in between checks on the DIS to see if others had any luck. Finally at 5:59 I decided to dial them up and I got a CM with no hold time. Talk about miraculous. She was fabulous, her name was Geri. Got everything I wanted, only had to swap a couple of days, and I even got dinner at LeCellier, which my husband wanted to try for the first time. I was exhausted by the time I was done around 6:30, but relieved. Now I'm really excited.

Same here!! My DBIL is going for their first time, and didn't want to stand in line for one hour or more!!
But don't be stress out, I'm sure it'll work great!! First time in WDW

You're lucky! I kept thinking that if I didn't make those 12 long breaths, I could've been the first! And could've had the FDP... oh well.
With Le Cellier, I've always wanted to go in dinner time, but only got before lunch times. So I'm also happy to go now for dinner!! Good for us!
