I need some feedback. I just returned from Disney and feel as though I was lied to. This was my family's 2nd annual visit to Disney , stayed at WL. We had a great time w/ our dd's (6&9) .
We bought a dreammaker pkg last year and had to buy a 4-day park hopper even though we were only going to Disney for 3 days. No problem, said the CM , booking my trip." The passes never expire". So we bought another 4- day hopper for our four day trip this year. We entered MK with the 1 day hopper leftover and were told it expired. We went to City Hall and were told it was a length of stay package. Not what the CM on the phone told me!
If it was a modest loss I wouldn't be so upset , but it was 2-adults,2children. Over $200.00. I bought a 4 day hopper and went 3 days - what am I missing. Who can I call or how should I handle this? Thanks.

It appears that you were sold a length of stay pass not a 4 day hopper. On length of stay you get your check out day to park hop so a 3 night stay gives you 4 park days but that last day expires at midnight on the day you check out.

P.S. I just re read your post. With the Dream Maker package you automatically get length of stay tickets. To get the park hopper ticket that never expires you would have to book room only [no package] and buy your hoppers separately.

I agree with philaround. The Dream Maker Package includes Ultimate Park Hopper Tickets, which provide unlimited access to the parks throughout your package stay. That's a package purchase.

One of the big problems I have encountered at the World is the inaccurate information provided by some (not all) of the CM's.
I used to be able to rely on the information given to me, now I find that in some cases the CM's have no interest in anything Disney other than a paycheck.
sorry for the misinformation, hope that you had a great time otherwise.
:jester:

This is why I recently posted that I rely more on info I get from the Dis board than I do from info I would get from CM's. ;)

What a bummer! If you have any information to document what you were originally told (approx date of phone conversation, CM's name, etc) I would e-mail/snail mail to WDW explaining what you were told, what happened when you were there this last trip and what, if anything, you think Disney should do about it. At the very least WDW needs to educate that CM (if he/she is still there) about the difference between a length of stay pass and a hopper pass. Perhaps WDW can give you each one day hopper passes for a future trip. You'd still be out the $ for this last trip, but you could save the passes for a future trip and they would not expire (or so we hope...confirm that first!).
