We are taking our first ever trip to WDW in October and I booked through a travel agent I found about on Mousesavers. Anyway for 10 nights at ASMO and 9 day Ulitmate Park Hopper tickets for 3 adults (DS is 10 so had to pay full price) and 1 child our total price was $1982. Now I am reading about all of these codes and people getting $55 at ASMO and I am stressed thinking I could have saved money. I just don't understand all of this "code" lingo etc. DH says he thinks we got a good deal more so on the UPH tickets than the room. This is making me crazy! That travel agent was wonderful, helped me score seating at CRT and I could not bear to cancel and start over. Plus I think I would lose some of my money? Somebody tell me some good news!!! Also I know a lot of people say stay away from values but the kids have their heart set on Movies and we will be there only to sleep (another thing I have been stressing about, values vs. moderates). Sorry to ramble but this is way different than our usual Disneyland trips!

If there was a code available for you room and dates I don't see why your travel agent couldn't apply it to your reservation. We always use a TA and they always apply any applicable codes for us.

If you used Small World Vacations through mousesaver.com they will continually work to get you the best price possible.
I used them this year and they saved us $800.00 over rack rates by changing our reservations two different times as codes and specials came out.
I also found it too crazy to keep up with all this and let them do the reservations and priority seatings for us. Since there is no cost to use their service it's a great deal.

I believe the cost of an UMPs is around $50 per day (someone here will know the exact number). You paid $1982 for 10 nights and 9 day UMPs. You UMP cost is (9 x 3 ) x $50, which is $1350. That leaves $632 for the room.

It works out to approx $63 per night after taxes for your room. Sounds like you did just fine.

The price of a 9 day/8 night UPH ticket is $409 per adult and $328 per child. The 10 day/9 night UPH ticket is $436 per adult and $349 per child. Just based on those prices, you're getting a GREAT deal! Add up the prices of the tickets and then subtract from the total. You're paying around $387 for 10 nights at ASMo, that's better than any discount code out there. Now, there might be other discounts on the UPH tickets that I'm not calculating if you have a package, but you definately have a GREAT deal and RUN with it!!!!

Thanks so much everybody! I tossed and turned all night, was going to post yesterday and didn't cause I felt kind of idiotic! Now I feel better and am going to start up a packing list of what to take and stop worrying! I love Disboards!
