did Hotel Royal Plaza run the "magical rates " this summer?

Hello everyone

does anyone know if the HRP ran those very special rates of $20 .05 this summer, like they did a few summers ago?

I thought it was the Courtyard that ran those rates. (which is now the Holiday Inn)

Anyway, both the Hotel Royal Plaza and the Holiday Inn were closed all summer for remodeling. HRP due to the hurricanes and Holiday Inn due to a planned remodel made harder by the hurricanes.

Carol, you are correct on both parts. The last time that the "special" rates were offered was in 2003 before the hotel changed from Courtyard to Holiday Inn.

2003....we got in on that deal.... it was great....went to Chicago and was talking to the girl at check in telling her we spent the one night rate for all week down in FL and she acted like we were nuts!!
