Why am I having such a hard time deciding if we should take the plunge to become DVC members?

One minute I am ready to buy and then I think maybe not

Did anyone else have this problem when deciding on DVC?

It took us 2 years to decide!!

It took 10 years and the right resort.

We received info on DVC when it was first being offered but we had only ever gone to WDW once at that time and we weren't sure how often we would be able to get back. It was also a lot of money to outlay for the upfront cost and we had higher priorities. Finally, we were not thrilled with the location as OKW seemed too far away from the action. In DSs younger days, we really wanted to stay at a monorail resort.

As the years went by, we revisited the question but it was not right for us until DVC announced BCV. By then we had stayed at BC a couple of times and really loved it. We decided to buy BCV as soon as it was offered to the general public. We purchased in Feb 2002 and it has worked out well for us.
