Did Disney screw things up?

I am doing a grand gatherings at POFQ and my aunt booked all of us for water view rooms. Months ago I called and asked that my room just be standard, because... well, I am cheap. They said it would not be a problem and my bill would be adjusted. A couple of days ago I had to add a day to the vacation because of the airlines and Disney told me it would cost $180 to do so (during value season aug 30- sept 10. Many here said that made sense if I had a water view room. If I call up are they going to give me a hard time about "downgrading" something I had already requested and apparently was not done? The CM who I talked to said she not only would be able to do it, but I could still be next to the rest of my family.

They should def not give you a hard time! It's your choice of which rooms you want. If for some reason you get an unwilling CM just call again and get a good one who will be more accommodating. I really don't see it as a problem, just stay on top of it and I'm sure it'll be fine. Good Luck!
