Did Disney recall the plush Barley Lightfoot?

My mom was telling me that Disney removed the plush version of Barley Lightfoot because his vest patch has the phrase "Quest Or Die" and redesigned all the Onward Barley plushes without the patch and so this makes me wonder if my Barley plush will be collectible?

Being a collectible is only of use if you plan to sell it at least 20-30 years from now and keep it in pristine condition for all that time.
Will it be a collectible? If it is discontinued now, it has been sold for over a year. Which means that Disney probably has sold ten thousands of these plushies.
