Around 2 weeks ago I priced only room at Coronado springs for the week of sept 14 - sept 22 and the price came at $ 1.381. I wrote down price for the week days at $167 and weekend $182. Today I priced again and it came with a total of $1679 some days at 182 and most $196 ?. BTW I was not avaible to see the saved offers. Lucky me I printed the offer.

Sounds like you might have a different room type than the first time.

Prices haven't changed.

Oh, not I dont. I just talk to Disney to find out and they said the same thing and when I explained I had previously printed a saved offer, they said oh, so you must had and expecial discount and you dont remember (please I'm a financial and i'm use to #). Actually MouseSaver.com still has the original $ for 2013 (the ones on the Disney website until a few days ago) and are the same I have. Well the "promotion" posted for Danny25 makes sense now and at the end we will be paying for the original prices no discounts. Just I wish the just say so.

We had originally booked a package about a month ago.

AKL - Pool View Room - 2 A/ 2C
1 day tickets
regular dining plan
$5089.01

Just priced the exact same vacation today.
$5089.01

See this chart on mousesavers, not including tax:

http://www.mousesavers.com/2013-coronado-springs-resort-room-rates-season-dates/

$167 and $182 are the rates for standard view before tax for those dates. Tax is 12.5% additional.

I just tried it online and it looks like the rates did go up to $181 and $196 before tax.

I tried POFQ for those dates, mousesavers chart says $162/$177, disney online has $176/$191.

Exactly, I priced a package for may 25-jun 02 and the prices are still the same as I originally got. But for some reason in september dont add.:confused3

Maybe is because you already booked. I was just pricing. They will be really fresh if they did not honor the price you got.

I noticed the same thing today. I also bookmarked my saved offers page when I was finally able to figure out a round about way to get back to it. Had to start to book a vacation using the december 31st promotion. Then I was able to find my way into my saved offers after I started a new vacation package. It is pretty bad that they are changing prices for time periods that you could already book for at different rates.

The rack rates for the BC vaca a few weeks ago were about $400 less than they show for now at rack rates.

I don't know if it varies by resort but the Caribbean Beach Resort price today is exactly the same as it was when I booked the day the 2013 rates came out.

sometimes they add in the tickets to the price and others times it does not.

It's not the tickets in our case. Pricing was only off by about $400...our tix are more like $1400.

the "total price" that disney shows , when pricing out on the site includes that little T symbol that means that prices include tax. but, when you click on the details of each room type, and the charges per day , it shows the price for the room for each day of your stay, and those are not tax.

I had priced a vacation that came to 2345, with tax. When I looked at the detail in that room category, below, it showed $417 per night...which is pre-tax and makes you think you should be paying $2502.

Try taking the charges that you have on yours , per day, adding in the tax, and then see if it matches to your current package price. hth

When I tried it for CSR above, the rates did not include tax either online or on the mousesavers chart. The price in the cart included tax. So the pre-tax prices went up for some resorts. I tried the same dates for All Star Music and they were the same as mousesavers.

Your are rigth. I know POR was at 162 weekday and 177 weekend and now is 176 and 191, the values look the same price.

Not by the month of september it was 162-177 now is 176-191. I know for april and may the $ looks the same. But so far all the moderates have a diferente $ than the original 2013 $.

It appears that Disney has shifted the season dates for the late summer Value 2 season at the Moderates, and the dates changed by a LOT. The Value 1 season in the fall is gone, too. There may be other changes as well.

One of my readers reported this to me a few days ago. I haven't had a chance to fully research the changes and fix the info on my site yet, because I've been hosting holiday visitors. My guests just left, so this is my project for today!

As far as I know, so far, this only affects Moderates and only for the summer/fall seasons. But as I say, I haven't had a chance yet to dig in and figure it all out.

Okay, here's what I've figured out. I've only checked Coronado Springs so far (and that page is now fixed on my site) but presumably this applies to all Moderates. If I find this applies to any other resort categories I'll post.

Prices within a "season" did not change. So Summer season prices are still the same, for example. What has changed is the DATES of the seasons, and those changes are substantial:

Summer season was previously 5/31 - 7/13, now 5/31 - 8/3
Value 2 season was previously 7/14 - 8/17, now 8/4 - 9/13
Value 1 season in late summer/early fall was eliminated
Regular 2 season in fall was eliminated
Fall season was previously 10/20 - 11/25, now 9/14 - 10/10, 10/14 - 11/22
Thanksgiving season was previously 11/26-11/29, now 11/23-11/29

The net result is that within the time period 7/14/13-11/23/13, many room rates went up because dates were moved into a higher-priced season. If you have a booking within that period and make changes to your reservation, the price may go up.

A few dates went down in price. 9/27-10/10 and 10/14-10/19 moved from Regular 2 season to Fall season, so the rates are slightly lower now for those dates. If you're booked within one of those time spans, it might be worthwhile to rebook your stay and get the lower rate.

I was looking some more and I don't know if the seasons changed. The biggest change to the website is that it shows the price including taxes, whereas before it didn't. This could be partly to blame for a lot fo the confusion.

I was only looking at POFQ.

The season change makes a lot of sense actually.

Yes, but OP is stating that they are looking at the pre-tax room rates and noticing the change.
