Did anyone watch the Cosmos show last night? (Epcot related)

I did, and loved it!!

Anyways, didn't it remind you of Epcot, especially of the 1980's? The music, the graphics of the stars (obviously more advanced today), the hieroglyphics...I felt like I was riding Spaceship Earth and Horizons!

Really though, that show made me remember the wonder that I used to feel at Epcot (still do on Spaceship Earth) and the possibility we could do anything.. Anyone else feel like that? (echo, echo, echo)

Yes. It was excellent and I can't wait for more episodes! I'm old enough to remember the original.

Epco could totally have a ride like the ship from the show, a seat, with a screen above and below, one for the past, one for the future, and take riders on a journey through the cosmos. It could be very cool I think.

What is the Cosmos show??

It's an updated version of the mini-series The Cosmos (not sure of full name) hosted by Carl Sagan back in 1980 I think.

This time it's hosted by Neil DeGrasse Tyson (he's awesome, my secret crush ). It's on Fox on Sunday nights and National Geographic replays it on Mondays.
