Did anyone watch Rock Star: INXS last night?

I thought almost everyone had a great night last night. Jessica did a great job. And Mig was amazing. JD sure got a lot of people upset last night. Marty did a good job with Hit Me Baby One More Time last night, but he got psycho last night at the end and really scary. It ruined the whole performance for me. Marty was on the news here in Chicago saying he thinks that INXS is trying to push him off of the show. You've got to be kidding.

I LOVE Mig! I thought that was the greatest performance of the show. He seems like a genuinly nice person too. Marty also did a nice job with his song, however, he scares me when he screams and his face shakes.

I am hoping JD gets in the bottom 3.

I'm a long time INXS fan here -- went to two concerts way back when .... and if they take J.D. ... well, I won't be interested in them any more. He's such a pompous donkey ..... I'm rooting for Mig -- mainly because I can see him fronting that band.

J.D. has gotta go -- but he's so good for the "drama," I suspect they'll keep him in the final 2 and then ditch him.

The way the band reacted to Mig's performance, it looks as if Mig just won the whole shebang. He will have to mess it up really badly in order to lose now.

Marty is still my favorite, though.

Mig was awesome! I also was very touched by his performance. I think his voice sounded shaky because he had SO much passion and raw emotion going. I agree with the band -- it was the best performance on the show to date. I think he'll definitely get the encore. He still remains my #1 pick!

Marty was great, although he looked a little possessed at times trying to go for those high notes, lol!

I also voted for Jessica, because I actually thought she did well tonight. It was the first time I have voted for her.

Jordis, Deanna and JD were so-so. Not votes from me tonight. The song Deanna performed is probably my all-time favorite, but her voice just doesn't do it justice.

I think Marty has looked possessed more times than last night ~ there is something about him that just creeps me out. I do think he did okay with the song that he was dished, but he is definately not my favorite.

I thought Jessica did a really good job with her song.....I think her confidence level is at rock bottom right now, but she is hanging right in there! I do look for her to be in the bottom three just because that is where she tends to end up. GO JESSICA! You can hang in there for a couple more shows!!!!

Jordis ~ phenominal!! I love this girl! She has incredible vocal talent!!

JD needs to go.....I don't think he can sing ~ and definately has issues. Not at all impressed with Deanna either. Susie had a very good performance tonight ~ even though she is far from a favorite of mine!!

Liked MiG, but don't think it was his stongest performance. I do look for him or Jordis to be doing the encore tonight!

I look for the bottom three to be:
Deanna
JD (we can only hope!) or Ty
Jessica (just because the poor girl always ends up there)

My favorites last night were Jordis (as usual), Suzie (I thought that was one of her best performances yet), Marty (I have sung that song many times myself, and believe me, it's not as easy as it seems--plus, he managed to give it a rock edge without going over the top), and MiG. Oh, MiiiiiiiiiG. I think I'm in love. One line and my heart melted. I had serious goosebumps.

When Mig first invited Jordis and Marty to join him I thought it was really sweet...until I realized it was obviously prearranged and practiced. I wonder who's idea it really was? Mig, the producers, INXS? No matter...I enjoyed his performance again.

Have you guys heard if any ZZ Top band members are missing? I think I found one hanging around Brooke Burke's neck! She has an imaginative wardrobe coordinator.

I really liked Deanna's performance tonight but she does something funky with her hands - kind of JD-ish. I still find Susie to "quiet" to be a rock star. I think she would make a great folk singer.

I agree with you 100 % and I think it was a great move on MiG's part to invite Marty and Jordis up, he always seems so happy and supportive when the others are singing, I think he must be one really nice guy, and although I still love Jordis and Marty I think the INXS gig will be his unless he really messes up!
It was time for Jessica to go (about 3 weeks ago IMO) she always nailed the INXS songs but personally I just think she detracts from herself to much with her attire, and mannerisms. I will say she left with class and will probably go somewhere with her vocals, just was not right for INXS.
I do think JD will last another couple of weeks, I see the other women going before him, all except Jordis that is, she will be in the top 3.

I think all three women in the bottom three are good at INXS songs. Just have problems with some other songs.

I like Mig, he is my second favorite, but Marty is by far still my front runner.

And I agree, who in the heck keeps voting for JD? I think he is a great singer, but he needs a SOLO career, he would be fired from being part of a band in record time, he just lacks the ability to work with a team.

I might be wrong, but it didn't seem pre-arranged to me. (IMHO) Jordis and Marty had these looks on their faces like they didn't know when to sing and when not to. Maybe it is just an act though? Either way, I enjoyed it.

I don't think it was prearranged for them to sing with MiG. MiG looked a little taken back when they asked him to sing and Marty looked a little freaked out when MiG called him up with Jordis.

I thought all three did a great job tonight. Amazing how Jessica does so well on INXS songs. But I think they made a good choice in letting her go. I don't think Deanna will last too much longer either.

Just for the record: I HAVE NOT NOR WILL I EVER VOTE FOR JD!
I can't stand him!!!!
