Hi all,
Did anyone watch the TV show Medium this week ??
I thought I watched till the end..... but I must be missing something ??

The missing girl was found... but what really happened to her ..
how did she go missing .... etc....

They never really said . . .The priest did his sermon and I guess freaked out the guy who abducted her, who ended up shooting himself . . .but they never really went into that part of it . . .It was definitely a strange episode.

I thought I was going to lose my mind with the Gloria Gaynor song playing over and over.

many thanks... I agree ,,,, a strange episode... I was watching till the end...
then all of a sudden she was found...
no explanation on what had happened to her....
I thought I missed something ...... well I guess not !

What I want to know is who was leading her to the girl? If the girl was alive and the guy who took her was alive, at least in the begining, during the ipod hunt, who was dead and involved. I thought is was only dead people that communicated with her.

Not the first time she has got messages from the living. They have played it like she is contacted by people looking for somebody to contact, living or dead.

We also noticed how stangely the episode ended. We went back to the last few minutes again just to make sure we didn't miss something. Lots of shows are cutting out the "wrap up" choosing the quick ending of the primary story. I don't mind it actually since it gives anothe few minutes to the back story. I don't to see the standard music montage as they show her getting back with the family, etc.

I thought it was interesting that they once again played up the powers of the youngest daughter. Could be interesting.

The plane crash dream made her stop. She went into the barn, and saw the toy plane...then the floor started shaking, and she realized someone was under the table.

Could be that the girl was close enough to death that she "picked up" on her?

plus there was the whole priest having faith in God to the end thing - that is supposed to play into it as well - with God's intervention/help being another possibility - of course, leaving it up to the viewer to mull the possibilities rather than giving you any straight out answers...plus the fact that they were leading you to believe that the dreams were meant to keep her off the plane for her own/her families safety, then you realize it was all to lead her to the girl...

I thought it was well done - I like shows where they don't answer everything in this way , but I do get too frustrated with shows like "Lost" where it is too open ended and the answers lead you one way and then change on whim only to lead nowhere again and again, too manipulative and frustrating for me....don't get me wrong - I am not putting down "Lost" - or those who like it....I think it very well done and understand it's appeal...I have tried it a few times, but it just isn't my thing..
