Did anyone watch Kid Nation

I didnt watch it tonight i want to see the thread about all the libbility issues... and the show is where 40 kids of different ages to a place and compete for golden stars and run there own town for 40 days.

LOVE this show. I can't watch it when it's actually on, so I watch it On Demand.

It's so good. But it's very edited, and you can tell. But that's okay because for the most part it looks extremely real. I would love to be on it, toughing it on in "Bonanaza."

I am addicted to this show. I have no idea why. It's so obvious how edited it is to fit the theme for each week.

Is it ending soon? Does anyone know if they will do a reunion show?
If not, they should!!!

Anyone wanna bet that we'll be seeing these kids pop up all over TV and maybe even a movie or two?

One more question. Does anyone know if they are going to do a second series of this show, and if so, would it be "bonanza" location again?

No, I didn't watch it. In all honesty, I think it's sick and irresponsible for parents to send their kids on this show.

Well its not like their parents dropped them off in the middle of a desert with 20 other kids and say okay here you are hope you survive. that would be irresponsible. There are adults there even though the only one you see is the man (name escapes me) they have camera people, and medical people. & they probably get to call their parents more that you see. I would love to be on that show. I love it. But i hate being away from my parents so i wouldnt make it. . But its a pretty good idea to me. Plus Greg's kinda cute =]
But i like Jared, Taylor and Greg.

Actually the rules and regulations for this show are horrendous (sp?). Parents of child actors are pretty much going crazy. The safety of the children were put at risk and there is no way to deny that. The reason they filmed in New Mexico was because their child labor laws were practically non-existent. Since filming has wrapped, New Mexico has revamped and changed their child labor laws...I wonder why??

Rumor has it that next season will be filmed out of country...again I wonder why??

From a government point of view, I do find this show interesting. However, it is scary at the same time.

So long as no one gets hurt, I will continue watching...I do wish the contract provided more protection for the children though,

yes yes. but he kinda disappointed me that episode when he was cussing out everyone. When Micheal got the gold thingy. Greg did deserve it though, but he had no right to say them words in front of small children like that. But it doesnt make hiim any less cute..

I thought the same thing. He could have used better words, but what he was saying was right in my opinion. I'm glad he got the star and is now on the council.

ahhh i just was looking at that. i like that idea of the saloon. when they go in their to party it seems like their drinking with their shot glasses and lol. it just adds to the idea of running an old ghost town. ahh and i love his hair!! im a sucker for long haired guys. not to long but long enough to catch my eye! .

I think that Natasha and Migle should start working..and some of the other people too. They just don't do enough to help the town.

I like the show.
I unfortunately only have seen 2 shows.

I think it's not appropriate for 10 year olds and things but I mean 13 and over I think is better.
I'd like to go, just for experience, and I love to work anyway and I would believe running a town surronded with kids your age would be pretty cool.

I think that the 10 year olds and younger just shouldn't get involved with the older kids. It's just not good for them to be around older people, IMO. because they're exposed to various different things, like you know what i mean? Which is why I'm glad they're set in one district, yellow.

I just think having them alone and working like that is a little much.
I mean I think they should be exposed to bigger kids because they always are at our school and the situations I was introduced to [interacting with older kids] always had a positive impact on me now that I'm older. When I was in 4th grade everyone up to 8th grade went to the same school so it was hard to stay away from the older ones.
It's just the working and sleeping on the floor and stuff is a little much for a 10 year old.
But I kinda agree that the older kids might expect more out of the smaller kids which is the only concern I have with it. Pushing them past their limits.
