Did anyone see RED last weekend?

We made it but the theater only had 3 other people in it. Disappointed about that BUT the movie was wonderful!

Anyone else see it? What did you think about it?

Saw it with my DS. Liked it- nothing groundbreaking, but it was a good solid action/comedy. The Helen Mirren character was great; something you don't usually see in this type of movie.

We saw and liked it. Wasn't as gritty as I'd hoped but then I noticed the PG13 rating.
Really liked Mary Louise Parker and Bruce Willis together. Adored Malkovich!

I have not read the graphic novel, but I saw the movie and was entertained. It was funny and quirky and I love all of the actors. It was your basic popcorn movie, which is what I like

I enjoyed it. Very funny and loved Helen Mirren and the guy who played her Russian love intrest.

My DH, myself and our DS13 went to see it last weekend. We all really enjoyed it. I personally enjoy the Bruce Willis type of action movies. We all thought that it was also pretty funny. Malkovich was hilarious. I do not like in your face gore or violence so this movie fit the bill for me.

Yes, we saw it too. We liked it but I wish there were only 3 other people in the theater. We were so annoyed by the people around us, it was hard to relax & get into the movie. You know the kind, come in just as the movie is about to start, go into the row in front of you, then get right back out, come back in again. Loudly comment to each other , make snorting noises, loud ha-ha type laughing. Just generally everyone around them.

By the way, these people seemed to be in their 60's, not young kids. The young kids were on the other side of the theater, running up & down the isle & "whispering" during the movie.

Such an enjoyable night out.
