Did anyone hear this about Chris Daughtry (American Idol)?

One of my co-workers said that Chris was offered lead singer of the band Fuel, but because American Idol "owns" him right now, he was forced to turn it down.

Anyone else hear that news?

He is definitely married. In fact, the woman he married is a few years older than him and has a few children. He's such a great guy that he raises the children as his own.

Fuel is going to be holding auditions for a new lead singer as theirs left the band recently. Fuel mentioned how good his version was on their website too, so that's probably why that belief is out there.

I was thinking the same exact thing. He would make an awesome front man! I also agree with what he said the other night about not growing his hair out again.

I guess he decided that it was better than working as a service manager. Since he is in his late 20's, he probably felt he was running out of options.

Often entertainer will be married and it is a secret to their fans. Patty Lovelace (country singer) was married for quite awhile before anyone was told.
