did anyone get their Fedex package for BWV add-on yet?

how did you get so lucky to actually get goodies w/ your BWV add-on?

We added on on Apr 20th and still have not received our FedEx package. If if does not come today I gues I will call our guide and see what is up. I know the points are there, but I would like to have the papers to sign.

Unfortunately this is the same type of stuff that I hear from my DW. But, lately she's been pretty good about listenin' to me rant n' rave!

We added on 150 points at the Boardwalk Villas. Considering that 150 points is the minimum amount of points you need to buy into DVC, I am wondering if that is why we received the extras. They may be perks for any purchase of 150 points or more. Just a guess, but yes we were pleasantly surprised, as we didn't expect anything besides the paperwork.

I asked my guide about getting a BWV litho if I added on and she told me goodies are only sent out if purchasing 150 points, which is basically buying a whole new contract. If you were to buy into BCV you'd have to purchase 150 points minimum, which automatically gets you the lithograph and the tote/backpack, and adding on 150 points is treated the same way. Adding on less than 150 points will not automatically get you goodies. However, it seems that some guides go out of their way (and maybe bend the rules a little) to make their clients happy so they send them the goodies, be it a litho, backpack, pin, hat, whatever. This is good PR on their part, but then it looks bad for the other guides who don't give away freebies freely. Also, I think the the situation gets worse when people post on the boards about what they received from their guides, because someone else may not have received any goodies at all.

P.S. They're out of BWV lithographs right now; that's probably why akghutton received a BCV litho even though he/she added on at BWV.

We were right in the middle of a BCV add-on (had signed the papers and was just about to drop them with FedEx) when I signed onto DIS and saw news about BWV add-ons!

This caused great angst as we had to decide about proceeding with the BCV add-on or changing it to BWV. In the end, BWV won out!

We called our guide on the 21st, received the papers on the 28th, sent them back on May 1st.

This ended up being pure luck for us - our BCV add-on would have been processed at the beginning of the month, if FedEx hadn't lost the papers I sent back to DVC. They sent out a replacement and we were just ready to return those when I got wind of BWV points coming available. I took it as a 'sign'...

We finally got our documents today. Apparently DVC sent the original docs out on Apr 24th but FedEx did not deliver them. We also received a nice DVC bag. We will sign them tonight and send them off tomorrow.
