Did anyone get hit by the Southwest glitch?

I did, but I also scored a ticket from Cali to MCO for $177.67 round trip.

I had to try for about 4 hours, but it was worth an unexpected 7 day trip to Disney World!

I must have "bought" about 9 tickets that day. The glitch made it look like the transaction hadn't gone through, and a red inked message extolled me to "Try Again Later". So I did.

Really excited to get this surprise trip!

I was reading about this on Facebook. One person said they had $13k in duplicate charges:scared1:! Enjoy your trip!

Bought tickets on Friday for our trip in January.

18 charges on my Visa card.

Supposedly SWA has sent the corrections, but Chase is telling me it can take 5-7 business days for the credits to post. So 16 of the charges (plus 8 EBCI) charges are in dispute right now. I just hope the credits post before my billing cycle ends on 7/15.

I had also just paid my DS18's tuition on my visa (to get Disney $), so I was thrown over-limit. Just hoping there are no overlimit charges, or SWA will be paying for them.

When I spoke to agent at Chase, she said one woman had 57 charges on her card.

That painful! At least SWA is paying for those over draft fees et al.

SWA is being very responsive. I called them yesterday because I needed to buy another ticket for our trip (DS18's BFF). I wanted to buy it on Tuesday, but my credit card was overlimit. I made a credit card payment online Tuesday, but it didn't post in time to buy the addtl. ticket.

As of Wednesday the ticket had gone up $34. I called SWA and they booked it for me at the original price. :cool1:

They are trying very hard!
