Did anyone get a random dvc log in notice?

I didn't get one. Maybe it depended upon if you had reservations for specific dates?

I got two: one about a login today from my location using my usual browser (I hadn’t logged in at all today) and another that said account information had changed. I called and also logged in but nothing had changed.

I am wondering if some kind of update was done? Or maybe it was done for people with reservations in the next 60 days?

I got three account passcode (attempts to sign in), then notice of successful sign in from Auburn, Georgia (I'm in California), and finally a "your password has been successfully updated." BUT, my original password worked so I wonder if the emails are phishing? If you updated your password through the email you may want to change it to a new one directly through the website.

And who do we contact to tell them this all Disney passwords (WDW, DL, Dis+, DVC, etc.) all having to be the same is a huge security problem?

I just got the email. The login location and browser are accurate. It seems Disney is instituting some sort of new security protocols. But when you hover over the change your password icon, it gives a redirect to GO.Com. so it is probably legit, but they need to inform people of this. It says they didn't recognize my computer...you know, the same one I've had for about 3 years. *rolls eyes*

I got two yesterday, about ten minutes apart. The location was in NJ, which is not where I live.

Same here- I figured it was daughter since it was a log in from my hometown. Question, I can't find where to change my password. I'm not seeing the option under these steps. I can't find Go to Disney Account.
  • Step 1: Log in to your account
  • Step 2: Under “My DVC Membership,” please select “Profile Settings”
  • Step 3: Select “Go to Disney account” and complete the form to change your password
Did you find the “go to Disney account” link? It was up in the right corner of my DVC Profile page - I was surprised to see it but happy too, because I was trying to remember how many other Disney sites I’d have to go to to change my password! Using that link changed ‘em all at once!

I got one at 3:53! I logged on after this time and later noticed two emails in my inbox. I didn't delete the strange one because I wanted to remember that it was odd. It happened to be the same location as the legit one. The only reservation I have is in about 174 days.

Thank you- I figured it out and was able to change it.

Wow I got two logins yesterday as well 1) in a city I had been a week ago and another in a city I hadn’t been to in a long time. I updated my password but it was a pain since I had to also change my logon to Disney plus espn plus etc.

Sounds like the new security program they are installing is checking any and all previous IPs you used to login?

I'm not DVC, but I got an email about a log in at an odd time for my MDE. Changed my password immediately.

I've noticed the email that is fairly standard these days after logging in often has a very different location. Disney isn't using the best program for this "security". By the other number of emails showing up it's a very good guess that Disney IT did something (that other IT departments manage to avoid :rolleyes2).

Can you find out where the login came from? If so, how do you do that?

I got two the other day, after the 2nd one I login thru DVC site and change my password.
I later got a email confirming the password change and I notice the signature etc was different than the emails I received.

I hope it is someone trying to scam us.
