that the Disney store is not carrying adult clothing anymore!!!! I used to go there every few months and get my flannel pj pants. Why would they do that?

Big changes in store for TDS. My understanding is they will specialize in merchandise for children with one of two categories: toys, or clothes. Other than the videos I have no reason to go in there any longer.:(

The one in King of Prussia is the same way, I went last month and everything except for a few things were for children. There were not any canvas bags or wallets or anything like they use to have. I thought it was because they are trying to push the stuff for halloween. I hope they change back

that's the one I shop in.... it really is a small world. I live right behind the Plaza

Wow it is a small world, I do not get to KOP as much as I use to, I had worked for an Insurance company and shopped there alot. Now I usually go to Coventry Mall or Berkshire Mall since I work in Reading now. But my son and like to go for lunch at Rubys and then we trek over to the Disney store.

Yup. I don't really shop there anymore (I can count on one hand how many times I've been in the store in 3-4 years) & the lack of park merch & adult clothes are the reason.

Ours has been like that for a long time :( I rarely go to TDS now because of pure lack of merchandise.

Our stores are still carrying limited amounts of adult clothing and the store in downtown Chicago has lots of adult clothing.

Our Disney Store stopped carrying newborn/infant clothing. :( I was so surprised... I always thought it sold well. :( They got rid of the adult clothing too. I always loved buying pj's there. Now they only have kids clothes.... and even that is limited.

They seem to really be focusing in on toys and movies now.

Ours went that way over a year ago and stayed like that. I haven't been in ours in about six months, but at that time there was no adult clothing and very few collectibles. I guess Disney is trying to tell us "if you want the good stuff....come to the parks".

No doubt & we all know how well that move is working for them these days.

ours has a limited amount, but still some, adult clothes,

I don't think they're going to convince many people to go to the parks just because they don't have adult clothes. A TDS CM told me that adult clothes never sold well and that most people bought them from the catalog, so that's the way they were moving. I know, it sucks. But most of the adult clothing was Pooh anyway, which I can't stand. I had to buy a shirt I didn't like yesterday in order to get my purchase up to $50 so I could get a $10 gift card. i guess they suckered me into that one. too bad you can't use the gift cards at WDW... there's TONS of stuff there I want to buy!

You can use the gift card on a catalog purchase. The catalogs in my store offer free shipping. My newest catalog at home also offers free shipping (but only if you purchase $65 or more).

Same thing here. With no gifty or home items, no adult clothing nor baby gift clothing.....I just pass the Disney Store by now when shopping. It's too bad because I've got money burning a hole in my pocket if they would just put together the right type of merchandise.
