If it wasn't for this board I would not have known about BLT. But I never got an email from DVC. Anyone else? I should note, I'm not planning on buying, but I hate to be forgotten!
No email and no phone call from my guide who I had called a while ago and said, "Please call me ASAP when they announce the super Walmart!" I found out from an email from DVCnews.
We didn't get the e-mail either. DH thought it might be because we just got into the system this past Sunday. But we got the other e-mails when we signed up online, so no telling. It wasn't in our junk either.
I have never received an e-mail from DVC. When I asked about it they said that it might be because they so rarely send out e-mails. I even signed up on the member website and still nothing!!! Thankfully I have several friends who are also DVC members and one of them just forwards any e-mails she receives about DVC to me!

I checked my old email address and it was sent there. And then I went to the DVC website to make sure I had updated my email and they had my current one but no email was ever sent to it
Dido!! Signed up on Dvc's website for emails, but guess I am not worthy enough cause we never get anything. That's ok, have the boards to keep me posted.
Zippo. Not interested in buying, but would have liked to have known just in case! Is this sent out by your guide or by DVC in general? Our guide is a long-time Senior Guide so maybe he is busy!

What's really funny about this is I was just at the "Doorway to Dreams" store on Monday -- I had forced my non-Disney loving dad and my Disney-neutral mom into going with me so I could show them just why DH and I bought into AKL on our last trip. As I was walking out I jokingly asked the folks there if they had heard anything about BLT. Their response was that it was all just the members talking and they knew nothing.
Me, neither. No phone call either, and we've asked our guide twice over the last couple of years to contact us when this resort became available. Of course, he played dumb.
