So today I got an email from Jennifer Brune. It said that my coordinator gaver her my wedding info and she wanted to "chat about included and upgraded options with floral, photography, and entertainment". It was signed by Rosie who I know does the floral, but it was written by Jennifer. Has anyone else ever gotten an email from her? What would need to be discussed if I have already decided on everything when I mailed my packet back in a few months ago. Are they trying to get me to upgrade on something before we pay the final balance? :rotfl: Just wondering if anone else knew of this....

Jennifer Brune is an assistant for the floral team (at least she was at the time of my wedding).

I would assume that they just want to make sure they understand everything you wrote/said in your planning packet, and probably comfirm all your choices.

I doubt she would try to upsell you anything. I think that's a rare occurance, from the floral team at least. :)

I got one of those e-mails as well. I just wrote back and said thanks, but I've already discussed everything with Rosie and don't have any more room in the budget for upgrades. Then either Jennifer or Rosie sent me an itemized check list of everything that pertains to their department (flowers and photography, basically), I said it looked perfect, they said thanks, and now we're done.

I thought it was a little weird too. I think they're just trying to make sure they've spoken to everyone. When I first "met" my coordinator Juliana, she said that Rosie would be contacting me for further information, but I had already jumped the gun and contacted her myself. I think this is when they are supposed to have "officially" contacted me.

Hope that helps!

I received the same thing shortly before our wedding. I agree with Purplegirl, it is probably just a double check. I never felt pressured from anyone, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I honestly never contacted her after that email, since I was already talking with Rosie about my flowers (which was really the only thing she was doing for me.) I guess it didn't matter too much, because my bouquet was beautiful, exactly what I wanted. They really do a great job with floral. :)
