Did anyone else get a locker survey from US?

I just finished taking a survey about paying for lockers at US. I'm not a fan of the idea at all. They had 2 possible scenarios, a pay as you go system or a flat fee per day system.

Since there's very little you can ride at US without putting your things in a locker it just doesn't seem right to add another fee on top of gate price to ride a ride. Just wondering if anyone else had gotten the survey.

I hope they don't go to a pay system. My local Six Flags starting enforcing mandatory lockers in 2008, they charge $1 for 1 time use for each ride or $8 for all day where you transfer the locker use from ride to ride. You are not allowed to bring anything in line with you that can't fit in a pocket except refillable souvenir bottles. All it does is slow down lines with people arguing when they try to leave items in the station and makes me want to spend less money in the park knowing I can't leave anything in the station like at other parks. I know the rides at Universal don't allow items to be left in the station either so I never minded the mandatory lockers since they were free.

I don't remember anything about park to park transfer of the fee either on the flat fee daily option. There were several days we'd start at one park and end at another so it would bite if we had to pay a flat fee at each park daily.

I personally hope they just scrap whole idea.

I understand your frustration but there's only a handful of rides that don't allow carry on items...and most of those are the coasters. All others are fine to bring items with you. I never fool with a locker...I bring just a few items and wear cargo shorts. Now...I'm constantly pulling up my shorts but I don't have to go near the lockers.

UO has had the family lockers located at the front of the parks for years.
They arg large and hold a lot.
You pay the day fee and can use it continually.

If locker fees start for the entire park, go with the one charge per day family lockers"

agree. We just shoved our stuff in cargo pockets and I wore a small waistpack ( which they allow on rides).

I wish I could travel that light but it's just not possible with my camera though. Cargo shorts are good for those that can. However my son lost his wallet on RRR when the pocket on his cargo shorts came open during the ride. Luckily they found it and he got it back from guest services the next day. And luckily no one was injured when it flew out of his pocket. Had it not been found and returned though I have no idea how we would have even proceeded from that point to get him back on the airplane for the flight home since his ID was in it.

It may only apply to a few rides, but since those are the only rides we're interested in it's all the rides for us. I'll suck it up and pay it if it does come to that, but it will leave a bad taste in my mouth to do so.

But that means travelling back and forth to the locker each time you want to get something, which for us at least, negates the whole point of bringing a backpack.

Luckily for us my wife only does three of the rides that require lockers (Mummy, MIB, and FJ), but we'd be pretty annoyed if we had to pay each time she wanted to go on one of those rides.
