My DH is a serious hunter, but even he thinks this is wrong. From what I've heard in interviews, the meat from these dolphins was mislabeled as whale meat and was given to the local schools to be fed to the schoolchildren even though the mercury levels were through the roof (and over there the children were expected to clear their plates). Also, the primary reason for catching the dolphins was because of the high price a young one would bring if sold to a Seaworld type show. Although it's no longer done in this specific cove due to public pressure, it still goes on in other places just more illicitly. If they were killing them to eat them and the meat wasn't dangerous, I feel it would be a different situation, but the meat being so toxic makes this reprehensible.
Just MHO!
