Did anybody receive the princess contest email?

It starts off by saying this,

Does your little girl insist on sleeping in her tiara? Is her room decked out in royal attire? Send us a photo and she could WIN The Ultimate Princess Celebration, including:

It then lists what the prize is.

I don't get frustrated alot. Especially not by Disney. But this email frustrates me. I don't have a girl! Can't they come up with a boy one too? I'd like to have a chance to win a Disney vacation too ya know.

UGH! Why does my husband have to carry boy genes?

I know what you mean. I have a girl, but she's 10 and way past the princess stage, so we can't enter. I also have two boys. Maybe I could convince my DS (2 yrs old) to go with a princess theme on his half of the room... J/K!

I do feel your pain on the boy stuff though. My 11 year old is not going on our vacation for the second time because he is tired of all the "girlie" stuff. Perhaps with the new addition of Marvel there will be something for the boys soon.

I'm having a similar problem with my 11yr old son. I'm taking him to DLR in Jan. and he is so not excited. The only way I even got him somewhat excited is that I bribed him with a day at Legoland and agreed to take his 13yr old cousin (girl). How can I make him excited about Disney again? I'm still lovin it!

I didn't realize that contest was only for little girls. I got the email but couldn't open it so I wasnt' sure of the details. My only girl is my 3yr old boxer, maybe I should dress her up as Ariel and see if she wins!

I thought it was funny, too, since I've got boys. I forwarded it to a pal who has girls, though.

Although ebtbmom may be onto something -- our dog is female...and quite the spoiled princess, now that I think about it...

I got it, but neither of my girls are that Princessed out..altho DD9s room is painted "When the Clock Strikes" blue and her door does have Cinderella on it...oh and she does have a Cinderella tiara...hmmmmmmmmmmmm

i was quite peeve'd too. i've seen a few of the contests that are just girl specific. i guess disney doesn't want our son's at the park.

My DD is now past the princess stage but I would love a free trip so I submitted an old princess photo of her for this contest. If she wins she'll just need to deal with another BBB makeover and meeting some princesses again.

I got this too. I'm quite perturbed because I consider myself a princess, but you have to be under 10 to enter. I wouldn't mind actually getting the royal treatment just once, especially with the crappy year I've had.

I think DD's beyond adorable, but I don't see a redhead getting picked.

maybe I could submit the picture of my DS(when he was 2) wearing his big sis's dresses he loves his princesses, Snow White is his favorite, he loves the part where she bites the apple, for several weeks I would find apples with one bite taken discarded on the floor and he loved to run around our house during the scene where she runs thru the woods (all while wearing DD Snow White outfit), I agree it should be a contest for ALL children under 10 not just Princesses, besides my son looks really cute in his Prince Charming outfit too..

I got this email and was a little annoyed by it too. Couldn't they have made it a "pirate and princess" contest? Then choose one pirate and one princess as winners?

I agree. They could have at least included the boys in the contest too. My guys love all things Disney just as much as little girls do.
