I am curious when last year, people were offered FD bounceback for following yr -
Was it an emailoffer, in room?
Was it for the same time only?
More than 1 trip?

I am hoping for the offer this yr and don't want to have to worry, wait like this again.

Last year was flyers in room and on resort TV special channell, if you didn't have the flyer (like us) you could ask at front desk. I've never heard of an email offer for Bounceback.

Not sure what you mean by same time? like did everyone get offered the same dates. yes. or was it offered for one year from then like we went last September and bounceback was offered for this september? yes.

More than 1 trip? you can book as many bounceback trips during that time as you want, there is no limit. You will have to make a seperate ressie w/ a deposit paid on each while you are still at the resort though.

the bounce back was a offer in room and you had to book it before you checked out of the hotel, I can't remember the dates it was a window for around aug sept

We did get one a flyer in the room - of course I am kicking myself now for not just taking it then, I wouldnt be in this anxiously awaiting the offer mess. But it is so hard for us to know what our plans are a year in advance.

Don't kick yourself too much, we did the same thing. Sad thing is we go EVERY YEAR same week or maybe a week before (depends on when Labor Day falls) and we still didnt book it. I can't remember my excuse at the time something probably like well I dont want to pay the deposit now, but at this point I can't think why on earth that would have stopped me!

I see it was for the following Sept- but I thought I read that some people had FD bounceback offers that they used other times of the year...in otherwords, I go this Sept but book the BB for the following May, not Sept-Can that happn? Maybe I didn't understand what I read .

When we were there that was not the case. We would have definately booked if FD was offered another time of the year. I even remember having that conversation w/ DH. We are trying to go different times of the year and alreayd had a May trip tentatively scheduled we would have jumped all over that. I recall the dates being the same as what we had seen before, like Mid August thru end of September.

The confusion may be coming in b/c the other BB offers for the % off deals have been offered multiple times of the year. Like when we were there in Feb they had the 20/30/40 deal for sevear different time frames, like weeks in the spring and summer. We didn't give it much thought b/c its was less dates than what we already have a PIN for for the rest of this year.

Last year, I believe free dining started on 8/16. This year it starts on 8/15. Both dates are Sundays. The bounceback offer was on an in room flyer. We put down the deposit, to reserve our spot. If something came up, since it was a year away, we could always cancel or move the dates around.

I got bounceback. I didnt have a flyer in the room but about a week after returning home saw on the boards about the flyers. I emailed disney and told them the situation that we never received a flyer. In the meantime we booked another trip for a moderate resort for this year and a few days later after reserving our trip we got a phone call. The lady was super nice and add free dining for us. We then decided we really wanted to stay in a Deluxe and went with Wilderness Lodge. This was back in September.

A flier in the room.

Add us to the list that didn't use the bounceback, this year is a split Universal/Disney trip and we were not certain of the Universal dates yet, now "if" FD isn't offered I guess we'll make it a Universal/Sea World trip this year.:confused3

We got the BB on a flyer. I think the email BB started this year. I think I read that last year during the traditional FD the BB was FD for similar dates in 2010. When we went during the later FD period in November, the BB was a percentage off room rates for much of 2010. That is the BB that we booked.

There's early fall and late fall. Typically, early fall's BB offer is FD. But late fall's BB offer is typially a room discount.

Public offers have typically been FD for the early fall, but differ for late fall - there's been FD, room discounts, or both offers.

If you do book for the next year with a BB can you change the length of the stay (once you get back home) without risking your promo?

Nevermind I foud my answer else where

Yes, they email now. Before our Feb trip I received an email asking if I wanted to continue receiving special offer emails while at WDW. I let them continue even though I knew I wouldn't see mine. My daughter had a blackberry and received the email while there and it was a bounceback offer. Same rules as the ones found in the room (by the way nothing in either room) I guess is more cost effective to email than print up paper!! Now with so many with smart phones, blackberries and internet access while at WDW maybe the future of bouncebacks who knows. You still had to call and book while registered and they wanted the current res. number when calling as well

our bounceback was 35% off mod, that's why we changed it from the 30% pin rate we had already. I hope you really didn't have the same as us. I know for sure the Mod. were the 35% on bounceback. I will recheck the email for the other categories if I still have it. ( we were there Feb this year as well at WL and nothing in room)

Sorry I don't have the email.

We received a flyer in the room. It was from 8/15 - 9/30. When I called the front desk, they said it would be QSDP. When I called to book they corrected them and said bounceback received DDP. I booked immediately because I knew they were trying out the QSDP at values. I booked the last date 9/30 and have since changed to add 9/29. And while I don't wish no FD on others, I am hoping it is not announced until after 4/3, when bounceback customers can make their ADR's. After all, I booked a year ago, and would like most of my choices. (would never expect all of them).

So here's hoping FD is offered on Monday April 5th. for the public.
