You'd think after 3,478 posts you'd have learned how to give a nice answer or just move on to a post that irritates you less. The point of the DIS is to share what we know, not how ignorant or uppity we are ....


I called to ask and they said my guide would call me back with the information. I'll post when I hear back.

The DVC website certainly doesn't reflect any new offers (no surprise there!).

By your reply BigTigger, weren't you doing the same thing you were bashing tjkrz about? Maybe you should have moved on to another post that didn't irritate you as much. That's what's great about these forums...everyone has a right to their opinions. Sorry, not trying to create a bigger fireball.

I just spoke with Nick 1/11/05 in the afternoon, $1500 rebate to apply towards down payment (along with intitial 10%) OR "free vacation". Same as before, I think. I filled out our application and faxed it back to him. Hope we are approved! :jumping4:

Snyderla is correct. I spoke to Ken yesterday inquiring about purchasing at 300 points and he advised that we could choose either $3000 cash back to be applied to the down payment or 300 points up front which must be used by end of Sept. '05. The amount of cash or number of points you receive as an incentive is determined by the number of points you are purchasing.

phorsenuf thank you for posting this great question, with alot of dvc members booking this years holiday ressies, ms has been either busy or ringing for a long time, i was trying to book a stay at the boardwalk while standing in front of the cm at the boardwalk, even the cm was trying to get thru to ms........so you shouldnt have to say sorry for posting a very good question
