we cant say coming....i dont get why we cant say that anymore. it is so weird what vmk approves and doesn't approve sometimes.....we can say come, but not coming. LOL

How come we can say corn, but no other weird forms of the word!

It would take about three posts to entirely cover my answer, but this is one thread I really can relate to. VMK teaches bad grammar because you have to say the wrong tenses of words to say something. If you take a partial smattering of the grammar in VMK, it would not add up to the sense level the people have in the real world.

Here are a few that are a little astonishing..

Full but not Fully
Bomb but not Villain
Come, no Coming
Go, no Going

There are so many flaws it would take a while to mention them all. Nonetheless, I think I used about 20 words here that aren't in VMK's dictionary..

It drives me nuts that I can't say chilly! When I am in Blizzard Beach or Everest room, I want to say its chilly in here! why can't I say it?!

I want to say hints! Why can't we say hints. Or even clues. Ugh

My big gripe is that we can only say a word or punctuation mark twice. In many clues for the quest machine I need to repeat a common word like "the" or "to".

What is the reasoning behind this limitation?
