Has anyone done this? It seems like a good way to ship the essentials instead of taking them on a plane (diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, even sunscreen!)
because this is stuff you'll use during the week, and most won't be coming back with you.

Anyone ever tried this?

we haven't shipped from diapers.com, but I have shipped ahead to hotels before. a good tip is to include your name and reservation dates in the attn: field, and to call ahead. we've also found the diapers.com orders very punctual and DW gets a kick out of it every time Joshua gets a package adressed to him.

I have had items shipped to a hotel before. I found this recommendation for flower delivery and I figure it should work for everything else too.

Hold for guest: (write the full name under which you made the reservation)
Check in date: (insert date)
Hotel's name and address

Also, you can buy diapers, formula, and other essentials on amazon.com or target.com and they often have free shipping.

One other recommendation. Our hotel does free grocery service (you pay only for the groceries) and maybe you could have them buy the items for you and have them waiting in the room and the cost charged to your reservation.

Just an idea.
