My daughter could not wear any kind of disposable diapers it gave her a horrible rash.
The day care she went to used cloth diapers and that was the trick. All week long she'd be in cloth diapers and on Monday when she came in with her diaper rash, the director would change her into cloth, put vaseline on her and by Friday she'd be clear. She told me to try the cloth on the weekends. It worked, no more rash.
So, my advice, cloth diapers and vaseline until the rash is gone.
You can pretty much get that anywhere, it's cheap and probably better for you.

This was no ordinary rash either, by the time I stopped the pampers, she had sores that were cracked and bleeding. Within days it was gone.
