Diaper bag recommendation for a Maclaren Stroller

I'm wondering what diaperbag to bring. I currently have a skip hop on my Maclaren Techno but I need to use my stroller weights with it or it will tip the whole stroller over. I plan on leaving the weights home just to make the stroller lighter when we need to fold and carry it.

I'm wondering if I should just buy an inexpensive nylon gym sack (see link) to put our necessities in or use the cheap freebie diaperbags from the hospital? I also have the Maclaren organizer bag but I can't see using just that. I need to have some type of real bag with me.

Anyone using something that they love in the park and can suggest it?

The skip hop worked great for me last year when I was using a larger stroller (Inglesina Zippy). That stroller broke and I no longer have it.

We used an EXTREMELY inexpensive mesh bag ($1 this summer at Target in the $1 section). It weighed nothing (which was good cuz neither does our stroller), the security guys LOVED it becuase it was easy to see through. We found it had enough room for what we needed, and it kept us from bringing too much stuff!

Thanks Staci but I already have one of those mesh bags. That's what the Maclaren Organizer is. (mesh bag w/2 cup holders)

I'm looking for a real diaper bag. I'm a bag person and have to carry a bag. I'm looking for a lightweight structured bag.

JMHO but this is what we do-- We have 2 bags, one that stays with/on/underneath the stroller with diapers, wipes, extra clothes, etc anything that you may need that day and a small daypack that comes with us that holds camera, wallet, one emergency diaper etc. My kids are now 7 and 3 and we still use this system even though there are no more diapers.

If you are taking any Maclaren other than the Volo you should be able to put something in the basket which will prevent tipping. You could also rent a double and use that.

We have an awesome diaper bag from One Step Ahead. It will velcro right to the stroller handle and also has a really nice padded shoulder strap. There are a couple of zipper compartments on the outside of the bag. It is pretty flat so it isn't bulky, but you can get a lot in there. I hight recommend this bag.

I feel your pain with the struggle to find the perfect bag!! We went in July. I brought a bag a lot like the one in your link. It was great. The bag was light weight and flexible.
