Diamond parking ending

Just read that the diamond parking perk is ending. I did google it and saw many confirmations that AAA is ending their relationship with disney. I hope this is wrong, but afraid it's not. I've enjoyed using the diamond lot on the rare occasions when I've managed to get a pass. During our May trip we were often denied parking in the diamond lot at AK on some days, but alway used it at MK. Has anyone else heard this info?

It's better than 180 days out! They also did away with the AAA room discounts.
