Diamond jewlery from Macy´s

I bought a diamond/white gold pendant at Macy´s when I was in NYC in October. It´s on a "white" chain but I forgot to ask whether it was whitegold too (I was in a great hurry). Isn´t it most likely whitegold? Or would they put a whitegold/diamond pendant on a silver chain?

If it says 925, it's silver. If it says 10K or 14K, it's white gold. Because gold has gotten so expensive, they are putting diamonds into silver sometimes now.

I would be wary of anything from macys after my last experience. I bought silver earrings (925 stamp double checked!) and i am not allergic or anything, well i still have pain in my ears from last weeks wearing!..so not sure what macys is putting in their jewelry...lol

Do you happen to know anything about diamonds too? They´re tiny, so size isn´t what I´m worried about, lol. But it says 1/10 CTTW WG 1STN

It looks like that probably means: .1 carat total weight (the diamond) white gold (the rest of the pendant) .. and I'm not sure what the 1STN means?

ETA: 1STN might mean 1 stone, if the pendant has one stone on it?

Thanks. Not sure what the 1STN means, but it´s not 1 stone since there are more on it.
I´m just glad, now that I´m sure that the necklace is definitely white gold It´s a beautiful pendant which I´m giving my sister for her 30th birthday. I´m sure she´ll be happy with it.

Could be! Mine says Italy .925. Bought it in Cancun about 10 years ago, so it's old.
