Hi Everyone this is my first time on the disabiltie forum my DH just started Nxstage dialysis in september.(Its a kind of dialysis the is done at home and uses a fistula just like in center dialysis) The only difference is that he does it at home and 6 days aweek 2 and 1/2 hrs instead of 3 times he doesnt have any down time so IMO its the best option for us and our family. Well what I wanted to ask is what hotels are the most accomanding with shiping supplies and what rooms have the most room in them to do treatment. We want to stay on property it doesnt matter if its a value, mod,or deluxe we stay at all of them. We just don't wanna worry about having major problems on our vacations we want to be able to enjoy it! Oh also have anyone requested a recliner with disney or do you just rent one from a medical supply store? Thank you!! :flower3:

For the recliner, I know that people have rented them before from Walker.
I believe that when you request one from the resort, they actually rent one from one of the off-site companies like Walker (I have no personal experience, but had read that in the past).

For Moderate resorts, CBR has slightly larger rooms, but that was the first Moderate and has one disadvantage - the check in area and the food court/shop area are not together in the same place. This is really only an issue at check in and check out, but is a bit inconvenient. Many people like Port Orleans New Orleans because it is a smaller resort and less spread out.

For deluxe resorts, a lot depends on which park you plan to spend the most time at. If you will be at MK, I would suggest Contemporary or Bay Lake Towers (DVC at the Contemporary). From the Contemporary, you can either take the monorail back and forth to MK or there is a nice walking path which is about a 10 minute walk to the park.

If you want to spend more time at Epcot or the Studio, then one of the Boardwalk area resorts would be a good choice.
