I can't decide on which hotel to stay in. :confused3 I was looking at HOJO or FFI and after reading this site I decided to check out Desert Inn & Suites which I really like for the extra room...we have 3 kiddos! I've now discovered it's not a "Good Neighbor Hotel" and can't be booked thru the Disneyland website, but the cost is not significantly different than the other 2 for the time that we are planning. The only real benefit I see with booking thru disney is the MTMM. Is that really worth it or am I missing some other perk that might be worth it? I've read alot of good things about DI&S and some bad also...anyone who want to chime in feel free!!!
Thanks for any info or advice you might have!!

Personal experience and the experience of many others here on the DIS state that most often you can bet much better pricing if you book hotel and tickets individually. Packages are not that great of a deal, and personally I didn't think MTMM was worth it.

I agree, MTTMM isn't worth it. But you could always see if someone has vouchers they didn't use too.

When are you going? I'm doubting we'll use the ones we got from our Sept trip.

We booked al a carte for our trip last November and saved a bunch. Call DI&S directly and they will give you the best available rate. We had a nice stay there. The front desk staff were very nice and the rooms were clean. Nothing fancy but good enough

Thanks for the great info...I ended up booking today thru Costco with FFI. It won't be as roomy, but the price is good and the free character breakfast was a deal maker!! And you still get the MTMM. I can't wait!!:yay: Only 29 days to go!!
:flower3:Thanks so much 3Minnies1Mickey for the offer...looks like we'll be getting them anyway. With 5yo twins and a 2yr old it'll be fun I'm sure!

What's the Character breakfast deal?

What's the Character breakfast deal?

Costco packages include a free character breakfast for everyone included in your package. Also, you can make payments up to 30 days in advance without a "fee".
